Bill Britton's Hammer Throwers
Hammer Training takes place at the Huntington Stadium on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (except Bank Holidays). Our squad includes a wide range of abilities and experience and all are welcome.

In February 2010 we again took part in the Chris Preston Memorial Winter Handicap ('Lite Hammer Competition') - a national competition organised by The Hammer Circle (The Association of British Hammer Throwers). Our 'A Team' of four throwers did not do as well as in 2008, when we placed 5th, but improved on 2009. In 2010 we placed 12th against many of the top throwers in the UK.
