Bill Britton's Hammer Throwers
Hammer Training takes place at the Huntington Stadium on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (except Bank Holidays). Our squad includes a wide range of abilities and experience and all are welcome.

In February 2009 we again took part in the Chris Preston Memorial Winter Handicap ('Lite Hammer Competition') - a national competition organised by The Hammer Circle (The Association of British Hammer Throwers). As expected, our 'A Team' of four throwers did not do as well as in 2008, when we came Fifth, but our other three teams all scored more highly. We hope to do well in February 2010.
