A series of 5 cross country events open to athletes of all abilities. See main menu for details.
Ingrams Summer Track and Field Summer League
A series of 4 track and field events for all ages and abilities. These are Open events -you do not need to be a member of a club to compete. Events will run in May, June, July and August 2009. Details will be available soon.
New Year Relays
A cross-country handicap relay around New Year on York Knavesmire, open to all ages and both male and female entrants. For teams of 3, with a 1.5 mile leg and two 3 mile legs.
Yorkshire Vets race, Heslington, May
Part of the Yorkshire Vets Grand Prix series, a course of approximately 10k, mainly off-road
Wheldrake 10k Road Race, June
Millenium Bridge 5k & 2.5k races, August
Off-road, but mainly tarmac underfoot by the side of the river Ouse. Evening race.
Track and Field Open Meeting, September, at Huntington Stadium, Monks Cross, York
Other Club Events
- Annual General Meeting, January/February.
- Presentation Evening, October - Presentation of club trophies, usually combined with a bar, supper and disco or band.
