Ingrams Solicitors Summer Athletics League
A series of open track and field meetings held by City of York AC at Huntington stadium.

Each day starts at 11am and runs till approximately 4.00pm

Who?
Male & female U11s, U13s, U15s, U17s, seniors
Age as at 31 August/1 Sept 2008, minimum age 8 years
No prior experience necessary, Club and individual entries taken
What?
Fun summer track and field athletics competition, with spot prizes and certificates for winners in all age groups, open to beginners and experienced athletes.
Track events
Sprints: 75m (U11s), 80m (U13s) 150m (U13 girls) 100m (U15s, U17s, Seniors)
200m (U13 boys, U15s, U17s, Seniors), 300m (U17 women) 400m (U17s, Seniors), Hurdles (all ages)
Mid Distance: 600m (U11s), 800m (U13s, U15s*, U17s, Snrs) 1500m and 3000m (U15s*, U17s, Snrs)
Field Events: Long jump and shot putt (all ages), high jump (u13 and above) hammer, discus and javelin (U15 and above)
Rules
All athletes under 17 years are limited to three events at any one meeting*U15 girls and boys may not compete in both the 800m and 1500m events. There will be 3 attempts only for field events. Meetings are held under England Athletics rules
Entry
Fees: £2 for first event on each day, £1.50 for subsequent events if booked ahead; £2 per event if entered on the day
