2011

Well it's all over for another year ! We had a lovely evening for the race and I hope you all enjoyed it. It seemed to go pretty well to me, though it was pretty hectic at the entry table with so many turning up to enter on the night. Also apologies again about the closed gate on Terry Avenue - I hope it didn't cause too much of a bottleneck. Feedback would be much appreciated. We do listen and I have already made a mental note to make 1 or 2 minor changes for next year. Well done to everyone who ran, but I must single out Bronwen Owen for winning the womens race in a new course record of 16m 55s and this at the age of just 14.This was a very successful race with almost 300 runners taking part in the 5km races, with the main race won in 15minutes exactly by Jonathon Wills from Bristol.
Thanks to everyone who helped with the event and particularly to Dave Paver who did a tremendous amount of work.
