York Youngsters Strike Gold

Youngsters from the Club struck Gold at the Northern Indoor Championships in Sheffield last weekend. James Buck won the U20 mens 400m in a time of 49.67 sec. This was matched by Tom Kimpson who won the U17 men 400m in a time of 51.27 sec.
Scott Lincoln set a new personal best of 14.21m as he took silver in the U20 mens Shot Putt. Scott was the youngest competitor in his event at 16.
Meanwhile Megan Savage reached the semi finals of the U15 girls 60m hurdles. She was joined by Emily Dutton (60m and 200m), Josie Parry (Long jump, 60 hurdles and 60m) and Anya Limbert (60m).
Saffy Botterill competed in the u17 women 300m and 800m, while Jamie Garbutt competed in the U20 long jump and 60m and Oliver Palmer took part in the U20 60m hurdles
