Fantastic results for Emily Dutton! No2 in the UK!
It started with the Winter Warm-Up meeting at Scunthorpe on 29th March!
At Scunthorpe Emily ran an exceptional grade 1 time in the U13 Girl 150m race. With a time of 20.0 seconds Emily, who is currently ranked No 2 in the UK, came second to a time of 19.5 seconds. An incredibly competitive race!
Then, at the Wakefield Open on Sat 12th April Emily ran the 100m in 13.69 seconds (electronic). This is the joint fastest time of the year! Emily was placed 2nd by spotters and took away a silver medal, whilst Alyssia Carr from Leeds took gold with the same time.
Then on Sunday 12th April, both Emily and Alyssia competed in the 80m and 150m at the Kingston Upon Hull Open meet. Emily beat Alyssia to cement her position as no 2 in the UK and take away 2 silver medals. Both gold medals were won by Alona-Mae Lonsdale, who is ranked No 1 in the UK.
