Paul Wilson's Throws Squad
The Throws Squad are now back in full training preparing for the 2010 season.
The 2009 season was a great year for the Throwers with a lot of County Champions and Medalists. A lot of the athletes also won Northern titles and medals and some competed at the BUCS Championships (1 Medalsit), English Schools Championships (1 Medalist), The UK Outdoor Championships (5 Medals from 4 athletes) The UK Indoor Championships ( 2 Medalists) and the UK School Games (1 Medalist). Every athlete achieved new personal bests during 2009 and hopefully this will continue for 2010.
We are at Joseph Rowntree School gym on a monday evening from 6.45pm. This is for circuit training and is for all athletes.
We are at the track on a wednesday night during the winter from 7.30pm. Some athletes will be in Courtney's Gym on a wednesday from 6.30pm depending on age and ability.
We are also in Courtney's gym on a thursday evening from 6.30pm.
