2008 Season
Our Young Athletes Team was sadly relegated from the Northern Premier League in the 2008 season, finishing bottom of the league of 16 clubs. Next season we will compete in Northern Division 1 East. The relegation was particularly unfortunate for those athletes who turned out regularly for the club, however the lack of numbers rather than the standard was to be the team's undoing.
Our athletes generally performed well and we had a number of outstanding performances, including an Athlete of the Match award for Becky Tunnicliffe. We hope that in 2009 these good performances can be supported by a full complement of competitors, and we take the league by storm.
